COMMITMENT TO RESEARCH TO BRING A SAFE AND GENUINE PRODUCT TO THE TABLE

Maredamare has always invested in research to guarantee a safe product according to the strictest quality standards. Over the years, various collaborations and conventions have been set up with university institutions and, in particular, with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Messina for projects concerning parasitic diseases in the fish world, the control of heavy metals in imported fish, and the control of traceability at all stages of the fish supply chain.

By means of microbiological analyses, constant control is maintained over the hygienic-sanitary aspect of the products chosen for sale, and with regular chemical analyses, the nutritional values of the fish are analysed in order to guarantee not only its quality but also its genuineness.
